Croacker

Croakers are widely eaten and are valued food and sport fish, with several species supporting large commercial fisheries.

"Croacker" is a spelling of croaker, the drum family. These fish live worldwide in warm-temperate and tropical waters, mostly in estuaries, bays, and along muddy coasts and river mouths, in both salt and fresh water. They tend to avoid clear reef water.
