Description

Frog legs are eaten in France, parts of Asia, and the American South, usually fried, sauteed, or grilled, with a mild taste often compared to chicken. Only the hind legs are typically used.

Frogs are amphibians found near fresh water on every continent except Antarctica, living in ponds, streams, wetlands, and damp forests. Frogs raised for food are often farmed or caught in rice paddies and marshes.
