Description
Frogfish aren't a food fish.
Frogfish live in tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Red Sea. They sit on the ocean floor around coral or rock reefs down to about 100 meters, with the most variety in the Indo-Pacific around Indonesia.

Warnings & Kosher Issues
- Its skin is scaleless and bare, often covered in bumpy growths, so it is not kosher.
- Called anglerfish in Australia, where the name frogfish refers to a different family.
