Description

Spiny lobster is prized for its tail meat, which is grilled, boiled, or steamed. Unlike true lobsters it has no large front claws, so almost all the meat comes from the tail.

Spiny lobsters live in warm and temperate seas worldwide, sheltering in reef crevices and rocky bottoms by day and foraging at night. They're caught commercially and recreationally in places like the Caribbean, Florida, California, Australia, and the Mediterranean.
