Description
Tuna is eaten as sushi and sashimi, seared as steaks, and canned for sandwiches, salads, and casseroles.
Tuna range widely but thinly through the world's tropical and temperate oceans, roughly between 45 degrees north and south. Most of the commercial catch comes from the Pacific, with smaller shares from the Indian, Atlantic, and Mediterranean.
